Prize-giving Ceremony

The joint prize-giving ceremony of HKOI 2023/24, SDIC 2023 and NOIP 2023 (Hong Kong) will be held in February 2024. All award winners are invited to attend the ceremony. Details are as follows:

Date: 2nd February, 2024 (Friday)
Registration Time: 5:00 p.m.
Time: 5:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Venue: Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall, 5/F Lau Ming Wai Academic Building, City University of Hong Kong

Only ticket holders will be allowed to enter the ceremony venue.

RSVP

  • Teacher-in-charge (contact persons in the competition application forms) should have received an email titled
    “RSVP: HKOI/SDIC/NOIP Prize-giving Ceremony 頒獎典禮”.
  • Please follow the link in the email to complete the reply slip on or before 26th January, 2024 (Friday).
  • If no reply is received by the deadline, only the awardees may attend the prize-giving ceremony.

As we have sufficient capacity, all pre-registered guests will receive an e-ticket and CityU Guest QR code.
The QR code is not transferrable. The holder must present their HKID with matching name.
Non-registered persons will not receive a ticket nor the QR Code, and may not attend the ceremony.

Award Distribution Arrangement

  • All awardees are expected to attend the ceremony to receive up their awards and certificates.
  • Certificates for all HKOI and SDIC medal winners will be distributed after the ceremony (~7:00pm). Those who leave early will not receive their certificates.
  • After the ceremony, one person from each school should present the “Authorisation for Award Collection” and their HKID at the registration counter to pick up the certificates and the awards for absentees.
  • Awards and certificates not collected during the ceremony may be picked up in person (or by authorization) during the Team Formation Test in April/May.
  • No other arrangements will be offered.
  • Awards and certificates not collected after May 2024 will be disposed of and will not be re-issued.
