Each day secondary school in Hong Kong may nominate up to 6 female students born on or after 1st July 2007 to the competition. Among the 6 nominated students, at most 4 may be from S5–S6 (or equivalent) and at most 5 from S4–S6 (or equivalent). For details, please refer to the rules and Non-local Curriculum Level-of-Study Reference Table.
HKGOI only accepts nominations through schools. Please contact your school’s ICT subject master or teacher-in-charge to apply.
For HKOI Online Judge School Admins
Complete the school-linked nomination form
Benefits: No need to enter school and contact information. All School Admins can edit the same form. Schools with a paid subscription can also add students by their Online Judge username.
For other teachers

Deadline: 27th October 2026 (Tuesday) 23:59:59.
The tentative list of accepted schools will be posted on 30th October 2026 (Friday).
This year, the quota is 192 students. Nominations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis*. Schools are strongly encouraged to submit their nomination forms early.
*According to the submission time provided that the form with signatures and school chop has been uploaded. If a form is amended after submission, untouched students will retain their original queue positions, while added, replaced, or modified students will have their queue positions reset to the time of amendment.
