Steps
Step 1: Go to the Join HKOI system and log in with your School Admin account. Under “Hong Kong Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics 2026/27”, select “Start filling” under “School-linked form”.
Step 2: On “Notices”, read the competition rules, eligibility requirements, level allocation limits, and submission instructions. If you need a student to assist in filling in the nomination particulars, you may enter the student’s username under “Grant student access” and select “Grant access”. The student can then access this form from their Join HKOI homepage after logging in. School Admins can grant or remove access at any time; when assistance is no longer needed, select “Remove access”. Select “Continue” to proceed.
Step 3: On “School information”, verify the pre-filled information for your school, particularly the address and Principal’s name. If corrections are required, select “Check / modify school information”, update the details in the School Admin settings, then return to this form and select “Refresh”. Select “Save & Next” to proceed.
Step 4: On “Contacts”, review the primary contact person. If additional contact persons are needed, you may enter their information directly, or search to link another School Admin from your school. Select “Save & Next” to proceed.
Step 5: On “Participants”, nominate up to 6 female contestants. You may add students directly or search for existing HKOI Online Judge student accounts from your school by username, Chinese name, English name, or School Student ID. Linking accounts enables students to view their nomination status and helps avoid typographical errors.
Please read the eligibility requirements above the participant list before adding students. Names must match the HKID card, with English surname first. If an account is missing a name or displays an incorrect name, please correct it using the School Admin function.
Step 6: On “Additional information”, enter any remarks or special requests that the organizers need to know (optional). Select “Save & Next” to proceed.
Step 7: On “Print the form”, select “Open printable form” to run the system validation checks. Print the generated form on paper and obtain the Principal’s handwritten signature and school chop. Screenshots and signatures drawn with a mouse or pasted digitally will not be accepted.

Step 9: On “Review & submit”, review the completed form, confirm the required declaration, and select “Submit nomination form”. Note that uploading the image alone does not submit the form.
Step 10: After successful submission, the “Submitted” stage displays the confirmation notice and read-only nomination status table. The organizers will review the application and typically issue a confirmation email within 24 hours. The teacher can recall the form any time before the deadline, regardless of verification status, by selecting “Recall form to re-enable editing”; the form will return to “Review & submit”.
